Tarn is an iPhone app that uses Apple Screen Time to block distracting apps and websites. This policy explains what data we collect and how we handle it.
Tarn does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. The app does not track you, does not use analytics, and does not contain any third-party SDKs.
Tarn uses Apple's Screen Time framework (FamilyControls and ManagedSettings) to apply restrictions on your device. All settings, including which apps are blocked and whether a lock is active, are stored locally on your device using Apple's shared app group storage. This data never leaves your device.
Tarn requests authorization to use Apple Screen Time in individual (self-restriction) mode. This authorization is managed entirely by Apple on your device. Tarn does not receive or store any information about your app usage, screen time data, or activity. Apple may independently collect data in accordance with their own Privacy Policy.
Tarn makes zero network requests. No data of any kind ever leaves your device.
Apple may independently collect data related to your use of the App Store, such as download information and crash reports, in accordance with Apple's own Privacy Policy.
If you email us for support, we will receive your email address and any information you choose to include. We use this only to respond to your request.
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
